General: The Athens Electra Hotel is a Superior First Class property on a pedestrian street near Syntagma Square, which is the central square of Athens. The hotel was first operated in 1965 and since then it has been regularly renovated until 1993, when it was actually reconstructed. During winter 2003-2004, the hotel will be once again renovated in order to be completely up to date during the Olympic Games in 2004. The property has one hundred and six elegantly furnished rooms and three beautiful junior suites, overlooking Syntagma Square. The Electra Hotel presents today a completely new face, combining the excellent traditional Greek service with modern and comfortable facilities. Given its privileged location, the hotel is the perfect choice for any business or leisure traveller .

Accommodation: All the rooms and suites have electronic locks, air conditioning, sound proof windows, ISDN lines in both bedroom and bathroom, voice mail, data port, color TV, Pay- movie system, mini-bar, hair dryer and in-room electronic safe boxes. Room service is available until midnight and secretarial service during office hours. A non-smoking floor and laundry service are also available .
