TINOS
ISLAND, CYCLADIC ISLANDS GREECE
One of the least touristy of the big islands. Unspoilt villages
and quiet beaches. Many visitors are in fact Greek - coming mainly to
see the church of Panagia Evangelistria, who is reputed to be a miracle
worker. Look out for the many ornate Dovecots evident everywhere and
a strong folk-art tradition.
Tinos island - Well known by religious pilgrims - Tinos however has
a lot more to offer.
