graphic town of Kythera is Livadi. It is situated 10km from Hora.
There, tourists can find small shops that sell local products, restaurants
and small coffee houses kafeneio. On a small hill in Livadi, can
be found our small complex. It consists of a 18th century windmill
and two small traditional Greek houses. The easy pace of life, the
generous and trusting nature of Greeks and the astonishingly beautiful
scenery is sure to be found in our little complex . Situated in
the center of the island, it ensures access to Kythira island's
most graphic beaches and tourist attractions. The 18th century stone
windmill, one of the well-known attractions of the island, along
with the two stone made studios have been renovated according to
local architecture. Both Windmill studios have their own style and
have been designed to express individualism and character. They
have carefully been furnished with household furnishings from the
last century. They welcome you with traditional Kytherian style
and all the modern comforts. |

HOW
TO GET TO KYTHIRA ISLAND, GREECE
Kythira is served by daily flights to and from Athens Airport by
Olympic Airlines journey time is approximately 40 minutes. There
are also daily connections by boat car ferries to and from the Peloponnese
and several connections to and from Crete. In the summer period
there are also fast hydrofoil connections directly from Piraeus
port of Athens, to Kythira. |

WINDMILL STUDIOS, GENERAL INFORMATION
The 18th century windmill has been rebuilt and renovated according
to very strict regulations given by the National Archaeological
Institute of Greece. Very few windmills are still functioning
today. This is one of the few still left in all of Greece. Large
stones have been used to build the walls and the stairs of the
windmill. The interior has been furnished with antiques from the
previous century and handmade ceramics have been used in the bathrooms
and the kitchen.

THE WINDMILL
The windmill, consists of three floors; the ground floor and the
first and second floor. Each floor has its own distinct character.
The two top floors are bedrooms. They each have a double bed and
a private bathroom. The entrance of the windmill is the ground
floor. There, can be found a small kitchenette and a sitting room.
Visitors have at their disposal a small TV, a telephone and a
mini-bar. It easily accommodates up to four people. The windmill
in Kythira bedrooms offer double beds and there is a maid service
every other day.
