LOCATION INFORMATION
Thalassomato Chateau is located in Mani, in the graphical village of Mavrovounio, just 2 klms outside of Gytheio and just 500 meters from the beautiful sandy beach of Mavrovounio. Inside Mavrovounio you will be able to see the trademark of the 18th century architecture alive. It is built amphitheatric on a hill, allowing you to gaze at the Laconic bay, the peaks of Taygetus and the olive groves.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Chateau Thalassomato (thalassomato means "the eye of the sea"), in its original form, was built in 1781 and was completed, with the addition of another floor, in 1844. It was inhabited and functioning as an autonomous unit, having an oil retriever, a stable and of course all the necessary defense equipment of that era. During the 20th century Thalassomato was seriously damaged, particularly during the 2nd World War and was abandoned a while after. Recently it was renovated by its owners, with a lot of love and respect for its history. They have kept the traditional and unique style of the original Thalassomato building and added luxurious elements making the Chateau a place where you can combine stone, wood and luxurious comfort. The rooms all contain a kitchen, air conditioning, hydro massage, sauna, aromatotherapy whilst the swimming pool at the back of the Chateau offers a perfect opportunity for relaxation.

Thalassomato's Anatoli Apartment is 40 square meters in area, at the ground level of the Chateau. This apartment with its eastern theme decoration will surely capture your heart. It has 1 double bed and 2 single beds and again can easily accommodate up to 4 people. It also has a kitchen with a dinning table, refrigerator, air conditioning and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Here you will find yourself surrounded by warm tones of red and orange.

THALASSOMATO CHATEAU - ELEONAS Studio
Thalassomato's Eleonas Studio offers a double bed room with a build bed and a beautiful view of the olive grove and the sea. Includes a kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning and a bathroom with a cabin (hydro massage, aromatotherapy). You will find yourselves surrounded by earth colors and olive green!
